I am David Hoechstetter, born of German descent in Pittsburgh, PA in 1958. I have traveled extensively throughout the United States, but have remained a lifelong resident of the Pittsburgh area, except for a brief residence in east coast central Florida.

Education & Experience

Educated at St. Edmund's Academy (elementary), Shady Side Academy and Taylor Allderdice public high schools, I hold a Bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Master's degree in Public Management from Carnegie - Mellon University, H. John Heinz III School of Public Policy and Management. I have been involved in organizational development, business management and supervision, sales and marketing since 1977. I started working with computers in 1981.

Family

I am a divorced father of two really great kids. They live primarily with my ex-wife, but I do get them often, and they are the most important part of my life.

Hobbies & Interests

Ice Hockey is my first game of choice. I am a player, a coach for my son's team, and a referee part-time for a local Senior league. I also have a partial season ticket plan to the NHL Pittsburgh Penguins hockey games - GREAT seats, too! Sometimes I think that the rink is my second home. I enjoy weightlifting, self-improvement, health, nutrition and exercise. I have been an avid scuba diver and I love motorcycles. I enjoy target shooting of guns and am proud to be a Life Member of the NRA. I am also certified as a personal fitness trainer by the American Council of Exercise.

I enjoy computers and technology products, and beyond business I am active in a few online single forums. (Any good looking, intelligent single women out there?!)

I also have a strong interest in all cars, especially Nascar racing and collectible cars, especially Ferraris. I also enjoy antiques.
